Brimob or Mobile Brigade, is the elite unit belonging to the Police. This unity is a semi-military unity specially trained like soldiers. One important task is to help the Indonesian military (TNI) in maintaining state sovereignty in the event of war. That is why the elite unit is equipped with assault rifles and armored vehicles.
